Take advantage of two full days at one of the area’s largest public celebrations welcoming the Year of the Horse.

Ring in the Lunar New Year at Monterey Park’s Lunar New Year Festival, held in downtown Monterey Park along Garvey Avenue between Garfield and Alhambra avenues.
The festival takes place over two days:
Saturday, January 31:
10:00 am – 9:00 pm
Sunday, February 1:
10:00 am – 7:00 pm
This free festival features vendors offering unique gifts and specialty items, food booths serving a wide variety of delicious offerings, amusement rides, and plenty of live entertainment throughout the weekend.
Traditional New Year lion and dragon dancers will kick off the festivities on Saturday morning. A carnival fun zone will be located in the parking lot at the corner of Garvey and Lincoln avenues.

Round-trip shuttle service will be available Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm at the following locations:
