Carolina Castillejos is Rose City High School’s Class of 2024 Valedictorian.

Besides having the highest grades at Rose City, Carolina Castillejos is the recipient of two scholarships. She received a $2500 Rose Scholarship from the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association for her creative piece called, Oh Dear Future. Carolina also received a $2000 Brandon Jackson Scholarship and was honored at the Latin Grad Celebration that recently brought students, families, and local officials together at John Muir Early College Magnet.
Leadership, Volunteer Activities and Hobbies
Carolina is the Vice President of the Student Leadership Board. She has also volunteered with No Boundaries ArtNight Exhibition and assisted with LEARNS, a PUSD after-school program. Carolina’s hobbies include drawing, writing poems, reading, and making music playlists.
College and Career Plans
Carolina will attend Pasadena City College majoring in Law, Public Policy, and Society. Eventually, she hopes to become a private criminal investigator.
