Ethan Boat has an exemplary record of academics and service.

Ethan Boat has earned a 4.82 Weighted GPA. By the end of his senior year, Ethan finished taking 17 AP classes along with the exams. He is recognized by the College Board as an AP Scholar with Distinction and an AP Capstone Diploma Candidate.
In the Boy Scouts Ethan held the youth leadership highest-ranking role as Senior Patrol Leader (SPL) of Troop 4, and is an Eagle Scout candidate. He completed his Eagle Scout project for Ability First, a special needs organization, by working along with over 25 volunteers to build an accessible basketball hoop and complete additional renovations to outdoor play areas. As a National Honor Society member, he has completed over 90 volunteer hours and 42 tutoring hours. He is the Co-captain of the Marshall Fundamental Science Bowl Team, joined the Key Club in his senior year, and earned the Jim Hapton scholarship from the Kiwanis Foundation.
He was awarded the Scholar-athlete Award by Montview League and Marshall Fundamental with the highest GPA on the Swim Team.
Ethan attended the Mark Cuban AI Bootcamp in the summer and the Caltech Rise program for four years, earning the Rise Program Scholarship. He also attended the Cal Poly San Luis Obispo EPIC program in order to explore different careers in the engineering field.
Ethan Boat plans to attend UC Berkeley and to major in Bioengineering.
