Today, the 4th of May, is Star Wars Day. It’s also the day a new Pasadena mayor is sworn in along with a new Councilmember.

The first meeting* will start at 4:00 pm, with the current City Council approving the City Clerk’s election results. Statements and proclamations to the outgoing members, Mayor Bill Bogaard and Vice Mayor Jacque Robinson, will take place before adjourning the outgoing Council.
At 5:00 pm, a reception will take place at the courtyard, followed at 6:00 pm by the swearing in of Mayor-Elect Tornek and Councilmember-Elect Tyron Hampton, and the reconvening of the newly elected council.
We wish Mayor Bogaard and Vice Mayor Robinson the best, and Mayor-Elect Tornek and Councilmember-Elect Hampton a big congratulation.

*Public comments will be limited to items on the agenda for both meetings.
