In the evening, The Record Company was playing at Memorial Park. The 8 p.m. performance at Monopole got canceled due to illness of one of the players. Zona Rosa was featuring Dean O’Leary while the Bob Mullins Trio were playing at Vroman’s. Then we headed to the Factory as they were celebrating their 10th anniversary with art work displayed on their walls, bands and lots of fun.
IX-tapa ill organization and bad manners
A bad mark goes to IX-tapa Lounge Catina where the Quinto Sol act was supposed to play at 6 p.m.
They were still setting up at 6:30 pm. We asked to take a photo of the stage but the General Manager refused. One of their in-house security guard commented that it is a private venue and they can do whatever they want. At 7:20 p.m. the band was still not playing.
