LitFest Pasadena, the writer driven literary festival, is held each year in locations throughout Pasadena’s Playhouse District!
This year, LitFest will take place on May 18-19, 2019. Two days of readings, panels, workshops, and literary performances for all ages and interests will highlight the 8th annual LitFest Pasadena 2019!
Venues (in planning)
Pasadena Playhouse, Vroman’s Bookstore, Zona Rosa Caffe, El Portal Restaurant, The Stand Courtyard, Andalucia Residences, New School of Cooking, Monopole Wines, Walt Girdner Photo Gallery, BlankSpaces, sidewalks and other potential sites and open spaces.

Last year over 200 authors participated in panels, readings, workshops and other interactive activities. In fact, over 60 events were hosted over the course of the weekend on a wide range of topics. Over 2,500 community members attended in 2018. Organizers anticipate more than 3,000 attendees at this year’s event.
