This event, designed to educate the Latino community on their rights, will emphasize the path to recovery regardless of immigration status. It will take place at La Fiesta Grande Restaurant, located at 181 E Glenarm Street in Pasadena.
A Posada is a beloved Christmas tradition that reenacts Mary and Joseph’s search for shelter in Bethlehem. The celebration typically includes a procession with participants singing carols and symbolically seeking lodging, reflecting themes of hospitality, compassion, and welcoming those in need. The event will conclude with a community gathering featuring food, music, and celebration—a meaningful way to show solidarity with fire survivors who continue to search for permanent housing nearly a year after the devastating blaze.
Guests will enjoy traditional Posada festivities, delicious appetizers, pan dulce, atole, and an opportunity to unite in support of vulnerable neighbors still displaced by the fire.
