South Lake Business Association’s 6th Annual Rooftop Cinema Night takes place Saturday night with a complimentary open-air movie series.
Each year, thousands enjoy movies on the big screen along with family-friendly activities, giveaways and more. This year kicks off with the celebrated science fiction thriller Jurassic Park (August 18th) followed by the epic space opera Star Wars: The Force Awakens (August 25th).
If you’re planning to attend, you’re encouraged to arrive by 6:00 p.m. to enjoy the resident DJ and fun pre-show activities. At the Jurassic Park screening, event goers are invited to participate in photo booth fun hosted by Box of Cheese, and enjoy bites from Braise & Crumble as well as indulge in award-winning ice cream from Crescendo Ice Cream. Popular Pasadena restaurant and bar Del Frisco’s Grill will be on-site selling craft beer and wine. There will be various giveaways from South Lake Pasadena businesses along with entertainment by DJ Grant Owens.
