The Altadena community is sponsoring a very special project for everyone who lives, works, or goes to school in Altadena.
By News Desk
Amid ongoing protests against police brutality and systemic racism across the nation, the Altadena community invites you to make your voice heard and add to a display of artwork created by the Altadena community.
You can pick up a 4 X 8 inch canvas and express yourself through the visual arts or poetry. A huge patchwork canvas shaped like the town of Altadena and entitled “Altadena Voices” will be the end result, displayed for everyone to view.
What does “social injustice” mean to you?
Pick up your canvas between July 15th and 22nd at the Main Altadena Library at curbside. Drop off your completed artwork between July 29th and August 5th. Library hours are 11:00 am – 1:00 pm and 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm. See the flyer and add your voice to the creation!
