It seems our city is going on a diet!

This year’s cake (made by Nothing Bundt Cake bakery in Pasadena) tasted delicious (we managed to have a small bite,) but we couldn’t help but notice how small the cake looked compared to the ones of past years.

Take a look at the photos of Pasadena’s Birthday cakes for the past three years and judge for yourself.

Was it a statement on our city’s financial woes this year? We’d like to remain optimistic and think that the size was compromised for the sake of taste!
