The City of South Pasadena is inviting residents to help shape the future of its parks, recreation, and open spaces by participating in a new community survey.

As part of the city’s Parks Comprehensive Plan, the online survey, open now through mid-August, aims to gather input that will directly influence long-term planning and improvements to local park facilities.
This initiative marks a key step in developing a roadmap for future park upgrades, new development, and the allocation of resources. The survey asks residents to weigh in on topics such as park usage, facility needs, trails, open spaces, and accessibility.
“This is a unique opportunity for community members to have a direct voice in how we invest in our parks and recreation system over the next decade,” city officials said. “Whether you use our parks daily or only occasionally, we want to hear from you.”
City leaders emphasize that community feedback will be vital in ensuring the plan reflects local priorities, supports environmental sustainability, and enhances quality of life for all South Pasadena residents.
