Pasadena looks great for being over 100 years old. Our beloved city is turning 129 on June 28.
A fun filled free birthday bash for the community is planned, where Pasadena Museum of History and the City of Pasadena present Happy Birthday Pasadena: Forward Motion!
2:30 pm: Mayor Terry Tornek will cut the cake marking Pasadena’s 129th year (since incorporation).

The Birthday Bash activities will include:
- Fascinating cars, bicycles, and other vehicles that were innovative for their time – both a century ago and today.
- Explore companion exhibitions When Johnny Came Marching West: How the Civil War Shaped Pasadena and Thaddeus Lowe: Chief Aeronaut of the Union Army.
- Enjoy a slice of complimentary birthday cake, entertainment, and a craft workshop.
Entertainment
Entertainment will be provided by the following:
- Blair Viking Jazz Band
- Little Junebugs Craft Workshop
- Mind Blowing Balloons
- Face Painter (sponsored by LA Parent).
