Fourth of July Festivities in Sierra Madre

Celebrate the 4th of July with Sierra Madre!

Festivities will be held from July 3-5, 2024.

July 3

Celebrations kick off on July 3 with a community picnic at Memorial Park from 5:00 pm – 10:30 pm. This event will feature non-profit booths, kids activities, food trucks, confetti eggs, a dunk tank, Friends of Heasley Field Beer Garden, and more. From 6:00 pm – 9:30 pm hear live music by Groovy Lemon Pie, and enjoy a bubble wrap fireworks show at 8:00 pm.

July 4

For the main event, Sierra Madre’s Independence Day Parade starts at 10:00 am on July 4. The parade route starts at Sunnyside Ave. and moves east on Sierra Madre Blvd., ending at Rancho Rd. Prior to the parade, a 5K Fun Run will be held at the YMCA at 7:00 am. The YMCA will also be open for free swim from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm. The Woman’s Club will host a pre-parade community open house with continental breakfast and live music by The Wabash Wailers at 8:00 am.

July 5

Following a lively day, wind down with a movie in the park. Bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy a showing of Barbie in Memorial Park at 7:45 pm on July 5. Ice Princess will be selling frozen treats.
