The program, which equips formerly incarcerated and gang-affiliated individuals with the skills and training needed to enter the building trades, has now transformed 1,130 lives.
Graduates, families, and supporters gathered to honor the perseverance and hard work of the class, who completed 10 weeks of early mornings, hands-on training, and intensive learning. The night before, the cohort celebrated their journey with a festive end-of-class BBQ.
The graduation ceremony highlighted the resilience and determination of the participants, who are now prepared to embark on careers constructing the homes, schools, and hospitals that serve the community.
