Residents and visitors still have time to enjoy the beloved light display, which will shine nightly through Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 5:30 pm to midnight.
Stretching along Santa Rosa Avenue, Christmas Tree Lane is lined with towering Deodar cedar trees, planted in the 1880s, wrapped in festive lights that create a glowing canopy. For more than a century, generations of families have been drawn to this seasonal spectacle. While the holidays may be winding down, the Lane continues to attract evening crowds eager to savor one last festive tradition.
Visitors can enjoy the lights by slowly driving through the Lane or walking nearby to take in the view. Even on quieter weeknights, the display offers a peaceful and festive atmosphere, making it a popular stop for those easing into the new year.
Community members encourage guests to be mindful of nearby neighborhoods, drive cautiously, and dress warmly, as evenings can be chilly. With the lights scheduled to turn off after January 7, these final nights provide the last opportunity this season to see one of Southern California’s most enduring holiday landmarks.
