On Saturday, August 2nd, Indivisible group, Rooted in Resistance, SGV, invites you to peacefully rise together to show outrage over the inhumanity and unconstitutional actions of the current authoritarian administration. This protest will be one of hundreds across the nation.
Rooted in Resistance, SGV is a non-violent and united community against the injustices seen on a daily basis. Bring signs that display your issue(s) of concern. Also, non-perishable food items will be collected for people unable to go to the market for fear of being swept up by ICE.
Participants will meet on the sidewalks near Kersting Court. As the number of participants grow, the group will spread out to the corners of Sierra Madre Blvd. and Baldwin Ave.
