      The popular culinary and music festival Taste of South Lake in Pasadena is back!

      It will feature mouth-watering offerings from over 20 South Lake Avenue restaurants, live cooking demos with celebrity chefs, music performances by internationally known bands and family friendly activities around the district.

      The event is free, outdoors and open to the public.

      Live music performances

      • Arms Akimbo – Named by Billboard as a band to watch, Arms Akimbo create infectious feel-good indie rock.
      • The Sound of Ghosts – The LA based, Americana roots musical collective delivers an engaging, explosive yet intimate live performance.
      • The Regrettes – The LA based four-piece create infectious, punk driven tracks with a pop aesthetic reminiscent of 50’s and 60’s acts a la the Temptations or Buddy Holly.
      • VÉRITÉ Indie pop artist praised by TIME for her ‘rich and ethereal vocals’
      • Larkin Poe – Acclaimed roots rock n’ roll sister duo praised by Rolling Stone among other high profile outlets.

      • 12:00pm: Luisa Fabbri – Owner of Contessa Foods. Join Luisa for an olive oil tasting the way professionals do it!
      • 1:00pm: Jose Acevedo – Mercado Pasadena’s Executive Chef/Partner. Classic and contemporary cuisine inspired by fresh, local ingredients and Chef Jose’s Mexican roots.
      • 2:00pm: Ronald Russell – Renowned vegan and raw food chef, co-owner of celeb hangout Sun Café in Studio City.
      • 3:00pm: RG Enriquez – Host of Astig Vegan Cooking Show, making healthy Filipino cuisine.
