Santacon is here!
The start location is always announced the day before (December 7th, 2018). It will be near a metro stop (the first of several, make sure you have your day passes).
It’ll be announced on Facebook and Twitter. If you want to find out first, make sure you’re on the e-mail list.
- You agree to follow the Rules by showing up in a Santa suit.
- Print out and BYO Songbooks. Be extra jolly and bring a few copies to share with Santa.
- Park at your closest Metro and take it Sunset/Vermont. WeThey’ll be near a Metro stop at the end of the night.
- Follow @lasanta on twitter. The route is not publicized. If you’re running late or trying to join later in the day, @lasanta has the details.
- You must have a sleigh pass to ride on Santa’s sleigh. Pick yours up at the first or second stop.
- Purchase your own $7 Metro Day Pass/Tap Card for each person before you arrive at the start location.
- Bring small bills, $10, $5s and lots of $1s. Seriously, pretend like Santa is going to a strip club.
- Wear comfortable shoes.
- Pace yourself, the metro runs until 2am, There’s got an “afterparty”
- Have fun.
