San Rafael Elementary School is celebrating the return of warmer days with a special community event on Sunday, March 24th.
Study Birding 101 with the Pasadena Audubon Society, arrange a floral bouquet for a loved one with the Main Street Flower Truck, learn about California native plants with the Arroyo Seco Foundation, or just explore the west Pasadena campus’ recent green makeover. There will be plenty of options for attendees of all ages to exercise their green thumbs. Staff from Amigos de los Rios, the Altadena-based non-profit organization focused on greening schools across the region, will also be on hand to answer questions about schoolyard transformations.
This community event is free. No registration is required.
