Join the San Gabriel Library to celebrate Women’s History Month.
The library is organizing a special event for teenagers aged 12-17 as part of their teen programs. The event will allow young people to learn about the remarkable life of Gloria Steinem, an American journalist, social-political activist, and icon who gained nationwide recognition as a leader of second-wave feminism in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
Following the presentation, teenagers will have the opportunity to decorate their own sunglasses, inspired by the ones worn by Gloria, with a motivational and empowering phrase using letter beads and other supplies.
