Our afternoon/early evening walk will explore East Colorado Blvd. and its history as part of Route 66.
Our walk will be just under 2 miles and will include informative stops at notable locales along this stretch of Route 66. We will be joined by Councilmember Masuda and Scott Piotrowski from the California Historic Route 66 Association! Councilmember Masuda’s office will be offering some great prizes from local businesses, so be sure to plan to stay until the end!
We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and bringing water. Meet at Wild Parrot Brewing at 4:30 pm with departure planned for no later than 5:00 pm. We expect to walk for at least 90 minutes, wrapping up our walk at Wild Parrot Brewing.
