Romance Along the Arroyo: A Valentine’s Day Event (Photo – Pasadena Museum of History)
Add a little throwback magic to your February 14: celebrate Valentine’s Day in vintage style as two historic homes on the Arroyo welcome guests for an evening of romantic music, sparkling toasts, sweet and savory treats, and an abundance of architectural and decorative delights.
From 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Saturday, February 14, wander through the Victorian-inspired splendor of the Fényes Mansion and discover the subtle art of floral communication through the Language of Flowers while enjoying light classical music played on a 1907 Steinway & Sons grand piano.
At the Gamble House, find inspiration in the warm embrace of Craftsman architecture and compose a custom typewritten poem with a local poet.
Make memories with your sweetheart, friends, or loved ones as you explore both Pasadena landmarks and receive heartfelt souvenirs from each enchanting venue. Purchase tickets via Eventbrite.
Locations are the Pasadena Museum of History/Fenyes Mansion, 470 W. Walnut Street, and The Gamble House, 4 Westmoreland Place, Pasadena, CA 91103. Admission for PMH and GH Members is $30, and General Admission is $35 (per person, must be 21 and over to attend).
