Loma Alta Park in Altadena will be one of the confirmed locations for Attune 1.0, a public art experience presented by NXT Art Foundation and Arup on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2026.

The free, family-friendly event brings together coordinated sound- and light-based works designed to connect visitors across multiple Los Angeles County sites simultaneously. The event kicks off at 4:30 pm with opening remarks, then cycles through eight different artists until it wraps up at 7:30 pm.

From Altadena’s Loma Alta Park, audiences will be able to take part in a shared moment of listening and reflection that unfolds in real time across the region. The project emphasizes slowing down, engaging the senses, and fostering connection, both within local neighborhoods and across greater Los Angeles.

Beyond Altadena, Attune 1.0 will activate a diverse range of public spaces countywide. Confirmed sites as of January 1, 2026, include Barnsdall Park in East Hollywood; Sycamore Grove Park in Northeast Los Angeles; Exposition Park in West Adams; Jane and Bert Boeckmann Park in Porter Ranch; Hansen Dam in Lake View Terrace; Leimert Park in South Los Angeles; Tongva Park in Santa Monica; Promenade Square Park in Long Beach; and the Wende Museum in Culver City. Organizers note that additional locations may be added.

The experience will feature sound-based works by a roster of visionary artists, including Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, Beatie Wolfe, Media Pollution, Sarah Rara, claire rousay, L. Frank, Qur’an Shaheed, Carmina Escobar, and Odeya Nini. Each artist will present a unique piece that invites audiences to listen deeply, engage with their surroundings, and reconnect with one another.

Attune 1.0 is open to the public at no cost, and visitors are encouraged to pack a picnic and spend the day immersed in the shared experience. Updated location details and event information are available at nowartpublic.com/project-attune.
