Residents of Altadena and Pasadena who were impacted by the Eaton Fire are invited to attend a new workshop, “Property Taxes and the Eaton Fire: What You Need to Know,” on Monday, September 29 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Pasadena Senior Center.
Presented by Los Angeles County Tax Assessor Jeff Prang, this community workshop is geared to fire-impacted homeowners who want to learn more about how the Eaton Fire may affect property taxes—whether you’re planning to rebuild your home or relocate. Mr. Prang will offer clear guidance on what changes to expect, how property assessments may shift, and what resources are available to help you navigate the process.
Whether you’re a homeowner looking for clarity or simply want to make informed decisions moving forward, this workshop is designed to support you. Don’t miss this opportunity to get your questions answered and connect with others in the community facing similar challenges.
> Registration for the workshop is requested. To register, visit this website. The workshop is free and open to all. Fire victims who attend this workshop will receive a grocery card; must provide proof of fire loss.
This workshop is just one of many initiatives of PSC’s Eaton Fire Community Support resources that were provided to the community within days of the devastating Eaton Fire. Additional resources to community members impacted by the fire can be found under the Resources menu at pasadenaseniorcenter.org.
