On Monday, June 18th, Pasa-Alta will protest outside the Westin.

They will hold up picket signs conveying the racism of this appalling incident and denouncing the failure of hotel staff to respond to the racist attack appropriately, while asking for the General Manager’s resignation. This event comes on the heels of the racist attempted murder of African-American motorist Chris Ballew by Pasadena Police officers Lerry Esparza and Zachary Lujan on November 9, 2017, and in tandem these events illuminate a dire problem with racism in Pasadena.
