Join Allen Edson, President of the NAACP Pasadena Branch, Day One, and Pasadena Complete Streets Coalition for a guided walking tour of Pasadena African American History.

Learn about the Brookside Plunge, the City’s public pool before the Aquatic Center, and important people in the history of Pasadena’s African American community.

This year’s route is similar to the previous walk during Walktober 2022, but with a few new locations. Total distance is approximately 3.5 miles.

We recommend you wear comfortable walking shoes, sunblock, and a hat. We also recommend that you bring water and a snack.
