First United Methodist Church in Pasadena will offer a free concert of music for the day before Easter in the chapel.
A string quartet, made up of members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, will open the program with an excerpt from Joseph Haydn’s Seven Last Words.
A performance of Giovanni Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater will follow, featuring soprano Lisa Eden and mezzo- soprano Michele Hemmings.
