100-inch telescope (Photo – Mount Wilson Observatory)
Mount Wilson Observatory will host a series of compelling talks followed by picnicking and convivial stargazing through both of the two largest telescopes in the world.
Food will be available for purchase from a food truck or bring your own picnic.
Talks begin at 5:30 pm in the Auditorium. From dusk to 11:30 pm, observe the stars through both the 60- and 100-inch telescopes. Additional stargazing around the grounds will be available from members of the Los Angeles Astronomical Society.

Important Notes
- There is a 10-15 minute walk from the parking lot to the Auditorium. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
- Be prepared for the cooler temperature on the mountain.
- Arrive on time. The main gate closes at 6:30 pm.
- Tables are available for al fresco dining.
