Celebrate the beginning of the Community Reads Summer Reading Challenge with games, bubbles, and fun.

This program is for kids of all ages. Show proof of registration for the Reading Challenge to receive a popsicle.

Starting June 1, children ages 0-12, teens 12-18, and adults 18 and older are invited to participate in the Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library’s 2024 Community Reads Summer Reading Program. Children, teens, and adults can track their reading throughout the summer to earn prizes, as well as enjoy special programming, including crafts, performances, film screenings, and author talks.
