Thousands of people from all corners of the state will take to the streets of Oakland to call on Governor Jerry Brown to protect all Californians from fracking and other extreme oil extraction methods that harm our health, our environment and our communities.

With over 5 million Californians living within a mile of a well — and up to 175 new fracking wells going online every month — we have a crisis. It’s time for Governor Brown to follow the lead of New York State and take immediate action to protect our communities from this escalating threat.

With the worst drought in 1,200 years — and the hottest year on record — Californians know how much of a threat severe climate change is, because we’re already starting to experience it.

Join the March in Oakland, Governor Brown’s hometown, on February 7 to demand that California stops fracking, stands up to Big Oil, and moves beyond dirty fuels to a 100 percent clean energy future.

      You can RSVP here.
