      Janus Film Club (Photo – Janus Films)

      Whether you’re already a serious cinephile or someone just looking to explore lesser-known movies from the U.S. and around the world, a new, free film club in South Pasadena could be your next favorite Friday night.

      The South Pasadena Public Library is launching the Janus Film Club, beginning on February 6, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Library Community Room, located at 1115 El Centro Street, South Pasadena, CA 91030. Each meeting will screen a selection from the Janus Films catalog followed by a short group discussion about the film. No RSVP required.

      Founded in 1956, Janus Films is the premier distributor of culturally significant classic and contemporary art house films. Janus Films cover a wide range of genres, languages, film eras, and artistry.

      Below are the dates, times, and titles of all 2026 Janus Film Club meetings:
