Teens and adults are invited to Huntington Park Library’s intergenerational conversation Let’s Talk: Hair-Story.

Find out what other generations think and how we can all come together to talk and listen to different views and opinions. This month’s topic will focus on hair discrimination in Native and African American cultures as well as the movement to remove these biases from school and work. The aim is to provide a space for healthy and respectful discussions. You’ll also get the chance to sew your own hair accessory! All supplies provided.

This program is part of the Teen Culture Club series.

Refreshments will be served at this program. A list of ingredients will be available.
