      When it comes to our health, the best defense can be a good check-up. Thanks to Huntington Health, anyone can receive a little check-in with one of their registered nurses on Tuesday, February 10th at 10:00 am.

      No appointment is necessary. Free health counseling and screenings include:

      • Hypertension (high blood pressure) screening.
      • Diabetes (high blood sugar) risk assessment and screening (minimum two hour fasting required).
      • Health promotion literature and resources available.

      Location is the Bob Lucas branch of Altadena Library,2659 Lincoln Ave, Altadena, CA 91001.
