The wonder of Pasadena’s golden era awaits you, as the Castle celebrates the holidays!
Bring your family and friends and enjoy your own Self-Guided tour of the magnificent building; including 25+ private condominiums, the Penthouse and the iconic Bridge. You will take a step back in time at the historic Castle Green while roaming the 118 year old halls and grounds.
Caterers will be providing delicious holiday bite size treats from stations throughout the ground floor (while supplies last).
Built in 1898, the Castle was designed by architect Frederick I. Roehrig with influence of Moorish, Spanish and Victorian elements, and has turn of the century glamour and charm. Today, the Castle has become one of the most cherished historic buildings in Pasadena and remains a majestic centerpiece of the city.
Gates open at 1:00 pm – you can arrive at your convenience through 5:00 pm.

Parking
There are two Public Parking structures available:
- School House Parking Structure

Pasadena, CA 91105 - Del Mar Station Parking (Metro stop)
230 S. Raymond Ave,
Pasadena, CA 91105
Both structures offer 90 minutes free; $6 maximum.
Proceeds from the tour go toward the historic restoration and preservation of the history of Castle Green.
