Lineage celebrates the 20th anniversary of Healing Blue on February 22, 2026, at 4:00 pm, with powerful true stories of women navigating life with and after cancer, told through movement and spoken word.
Lineage is honored, once again, to be collaborating with the Living Beauty Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on cancer support, whose clients are featured as storytellers in Healing Blue.
Since 2005, Pasadena’s Lineage Dance Company has been presenting Healing Blue to raise support and awareness for breast cancer centers across the country. The show tells the true stories of women in their struggles and triumphs over cancer. These stories form the emotional backbone of the night, and dive into touching, profound, and sometimes hilarious aspects of living with an often life-threatening illness. Each year Lineage brings new women’s stories to light as well as the choreography that has been inspired by their words.
Choreography by Hilary Thomas. Featuring performances by Nola Gibson, Caterina Mercante, Ericalynn Priolo, Hilary Thomas, Teya Wolvington, and Meghann Zenor. Approximate run time: 70 minutes.
Tickets are $30 general, $20 student/senior. They are available here.
Age appropriateness: due to difficult subject matter surrounding cancer, and tasteful photos of breast cancer survivors post-surgery, care is recommended when considering attending with children.
