Join hundreds of volunteers for a powerful day of action, unity, and impact at Food Forward’s Zest Fest.
This special community harvest and distribution event brings together friends, families, and local leaders under the trees of one of LA’s oldest historic citrus orchards to harvest surplus produce and prepare boxes of recovered produce to help in the recovery of Los Angeles.
Be part of Food Forward’s biggest public event of 2025 that will begin the push to reach 500 million pounds of rescued food since their founding in 2009.
> All ages are welcome to attend Zest Fest. Children ages 5 and over are eligible to participate in harvest activities. Produce box packing shifts are open to volunteers 16 years and older. For the non-harvest event, children of all ages are welcome. All harvest and produce box packing participants will be required to fill out a Volunteer Participant Agreement and Release when registering. To register, click here.
