Absolute Focus presents an evening of Indian classical music that resonates with the Norton Simon Museum’s diverse art collection and conveys emotion, movement, and storytelling.

Kamaljeet Ahluwalia performs on the santoor, a rare and exquisite instrument featuring 100 strings. Jas Ahluwalia plays the tabla, a pair of drums with profound rhythmic expression.

This event takes place at the Norton Simon Museum’s theater and is free with museum admission. Doors open 30 minutes before the program. Advance ticket-holders may check in at the Membership Desk between 12:00 pm and 4:45 pm to receive a sticker for their seat (seating is not assigned). Everyone must be seated no later than 4:50 pm. Guests who are not in their seat by 4:50 pm may forfeit their ticket.
