Learn about Pasadena’s transition to renewable energy sources and what it means for our community.

Extreme weather events remind us that climate change is real and urgent. In response, Pasadena’s City Council declared a climate emergency and set a goal to achieve 100% carbon-free electric power by 2030. Join Linda Vista branch library for a discussion featuring Kellee O’Rourke, Customer Relations Program Manager of Pasadena Water and Power, on how Pasadena is transitioning to renewable energy sources like solar, wind, and geothermal, and what it means for our community.

For accessibility information and requests, contact the library site hosting the program. Providing at least 72 hours advance notice will help ensure availability.
