Altadena Public Library will celebrate the life of Frida Kahlo – one of the most important 20th century artist of the Americas – with an exhibition and movie inspired by her life and work.
Behind Frida Kahlo portraits lie the many faces of this extraordinary artist, who painted her pain, her solitude, the returning to her Mexican origin, her political activism reflecting her commitment to social justice and her surrealism reflected in her paintings incorporated all of her natural surroundings.
