Learn about the edible and medicinal uses of plants- both native to our locale and introduced- with foraging expert Christopher Nyerges.
Christopher has been teaching foraging in Southern California since 1974 and has authored Foraging California and Guide to Wild Foods, among others. Sample Patagonia Provisions paired with wild foods including nettle, mustard, and onion, as well as acorn heirloom-corn cornbread. The author of Foraging California and Guide to Wild Foods and Useful Plants, among other titles, Christopher has been teaching foraging in Southern California since 1974.
We’ll also be pairing food from Patagonia Provisions with foods from the wild for you to enjoy. The presentation, snacks and drinks are all free!
After the workshop, sign up to join Christopher on a Saturday forging field trip. Books and other materials will be for sale at the event.
