Designed to create more awareness about recent California legislation that makes local food production, selling and sharing more accessible, this workshop will cover a variety of topics related to food sovereignty:
- Learn how you can forage, glean and sell legally.
- Find out how you can get your kitchen certified to start your own home-based food business.
- Hear from experts about the do’s and don’ts, along with personal stories from food activists on the front lines.

- AB-1990 Community Food Producers
- AB-551 Urban Agriculture Act
- AB-2561 Neighborhood Food Act
- AB-1616 Homemade Food Act
Come learn, make connections and enjoy samples of local cottage-produced food. Stay for a light bites afterwards (until 1pm).

Free and open to the public, but a donation is appreciated: 1-2 time credits or $5-10 is appreciated and will help us continue to bring useful information for community resiliency.
