The Legacy of Black Buffalo Soldiers Presentation (Photo – Altadena Library)

In honor of Black History Month, Altadena Library and Altadena Historical Society welcome Retired Sergeant Major Charles Hancock, vice president of the Southwest Association of Buffalo Soldiers, for a talk about African American contributions to the military.

Sergeant Major Hancock has a passion for history with advocacy and education. He is deeply committed to bringing lesser-known chapters of African American military service into public view.

There will be a Q&A after the presentation. For more details, visit the Altadena Library calendar here.

Due to space limitations, call Bob Lucas Branch Library at (626) 798-8338 to register.
