Come out to support local filmmakers Hrag Yedalian (Director) and Brandon D. Lamar (Producer) for the Sunday, February 1, 4:30 – 8:00 pm, documentary premiere of Beneath the Ashes, the Past Reimagined. The film tells the story of the historic African-American Altadena community and its fight to rebuild after the Eaton Fire.
Survivors and prominent citizens such as former Assemblymember and Pasadena Mayor Chris Holden, community artist Keni Arts, Rose and Dennis Robinson (family members of Olympic athletes Mack and Jackie Robinson), and many more are featured.
