An Evacuation Warning has been issued for Sierra Madre’s canyon and burn-scar areas due to an increased risk of mud or debris flows.
By News Desk
The alert comes amid heightened concern over unstable terrain in regions previously affected by wildfires.
Public Safety personnel are currently conducting door-to-door notifications in the affected zones to ensure residents are aware of the threat. Authorities strongly urge those in high-hazard areas to evacuate now, while others nearby should remain on high alert and be prepared to leave if conditions deteriorate.
A temporary evacuation shelter has been opened at Hart House Senior Center, located at 222 W. Sierra Madre Blvd., to assist displaced residents.
