It’s election time in Altadena!

Altadena residents are encouraged to run for the Town Council in the upcoming elections.
Those wishing to run for a seat on the Altadena Town Council have until October 6, 2020, to complete and file their application. (All rules and regulations can be found on the Altadena Town Council website).
The Altadena Town Council has been in existence since 1975 and in the first election over 1500 ballots were cast for two seats! There are two council members per census tract. The Council meets every third Tuesday of every month.

The Election Committee consists of Town Council members and Community members from Altadena:
- Antonio Becerra.
- Bridget Brewster.
- Karen Gibson.
- Gloria Sanyika.
- Victoria Knapp.
- Nick Santangelo.
- Veronica Jones – Election Chair.
Election information
> The deadline for applying is October 6, 2020. The election dates are November 3 (early voting) and November 7, 2020 (regular voting).
> Two year terms are expiring for these current Council members:
- Jeff Simmonds* (CT4601),
- Okorie Ezieme* (CT4602),
- Arron Tschida (CT 4603.01),
- Gloria Sanyika* (CT4603.02),
- Antonio Becerra* (CT4610),
- Patricia Sutherlen (CT4611),
- Jennifer Hall Lee* (CT4612),
- and Diane Marcussen (CT4613)
*Does not plan to run (as of publication time).
> On October 20, 2020 at the Altadena Town Council meeting, each candidate will be given the opportunity to make a short oral presentation.
