Get EGG-cited! It’s time for Pasadena’s popular Egg Bowl – the egg hunt and spring festival at the Rose Bowl Stadium.

      By News Desk

The City of Pasadena Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department and the Rose Bowl Stadium invite you to hop on over to join the fun on Saturday, March 30, 2024, 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The first egg hunt for kids up to 12 years old will begin at 11:00 am, with two additional egg hunts scheduled at 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm. Limited tickets for the free egg hunts will be available at this link. Every-bunny counts, so be sure to register all members in your group.

After the egg hunt, head over to the spring festival in Area H. The festival will feature free family-friendly activities, games, youth performances, arts and crafts, inflatable games, food for purchase, and more.

Free rides to and from the Egg Bowl will be offered on Pasadena Transit Route 51 buses all day. Route 51 will run every 22 minutes from 7:30 am – 8:00 pm and will be increased to every 11 minutes from 10:30 am – 2:20 pm. The route travels between Memorial Park A Line (formerly Gold Line) Station along Fair Oaks Ave. to the Rose Bowl. The Rose Bowl Stadium is a 5-minute walk from the Pasadena Transit bus stop. (View the route map and schedule at PasadenaTransit.net). Riders will also be entered in a raffle to win prizes.

Free parking will be available in Lot F.

The Egg Bowl is sponsored by the City of Pasadena, Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department and the Rose Bowl Stadium. Additional event sponsors include Pasadena Transit, Pasadena Media, Pasadena Management Association, and Sri Lanka Foundation.

Call the City Service Center at (626) 744-7311 for:

      • Event information
      • To request an accommodation. Providing at least 72 hours advance notice will help ensure availability.

In case of moderate-to-heavy rain, the event will be canceled.
