The EFC-LTRG will serve as a coordinated body providing case management services, mobilizing recovery resources, and ensuring effective coordination across several affected areas, including Altadena, Pasadena, Sierra Madre, and the greater Eaton Canyon region. The group’s mission is to facilitate a survivor-centered recovery process that prioritizes equity, community engagement, and resilience building for those affected by the disaster.
“We are committed to helping families rebuild their lives with dignity, while ensuring that the recovery process remains inclusive and rooted in local needs,” said Michael Ocon, Leadership Council Secretary.
The official launch event will be held at the Eaton Fire Collaboratory in Altadena, located at 540 Woodbury Rd, beginning at 10:00 am. The gathering will include the Eaton Fire Collaborative Leadership Council, members of the Long-Term Recovery Group, local elected officials, community leaders, as well as nonprofit and faith-based partners and residents.
