      Easter Festival Celebration

      CHRIST IS RISEN! Celebrate with First UMC Pasadena as we have come through Holy Week and have journeyed to Christ’s Resurrection from the Cross. We shall break the fast from using “Alleluia!” in worship! Join us for a festival of brass music and a joint sermon with Rev. Adiel DePano and Rev. Allison Mark.

      Following our Easter Festival Celebration on Sunday, April 20 we hope you will join us for fun, food, & fellowship with our church family at a traditional Easter meal hosted by Roger & Marilynne (Kennedy) Wilander. There will be glazed ham, potatoes, fresh veggies, rolls, salad, and dessert. A suggested donation of $8.00 per person or $24 per family is requested, though any amount will be graciously accepted.       10:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary
      Festival Worship with glorious music by the Kirk Choir, Van Etten Handbell Choir, Children’s choirs, brass and organ. Dr. Mark Smutny will preach. The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated.

      Easter worship in Spanish takes place at 10 a.m. in Freeman Chapel. Worship in Korean is at 12 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
