Just before the cutting of the cake ceremony during Pasadena’s 128th Birthday celebration Sunday, Colorado Boulevard had a chat with many Pasadena Councilmembers about the mayoral race.
Today we feature Councilmember John J. Kennedy:
Councilmember Kennedy, we’ve seen you at City Council meetings, and it is obvious you are enjoying your term. If Mayor Bogaard decides to run again, and knowing that Terry Tornek is running as well, are you going to stay on the side, or will you throw your support to either one of them?
I haven’t made my decision on whether I’ll be running with Mayor Bogaard and with Terry Tornek deciding to run. I’m reserving my support in making the decision should I run myself.
There is a lot that we are working on in the city from a policy perspective to make the city even better, but as it relates to who is going to be mayor of this fine city, I think the voters will let us know, and I think we’ll have some extraordinary candidates for that office.
