      ColoradoBoulevard.net First AnniversaryOne year old!

      Dear Readers,

Today, Saturday June 28,  we turn one year old.

Colorado Boulevard grew from a modest one-page events listing to more than 400 listings a month. We initially started adding articles about local events and issues that concern us all — from organic living to highlighting ways of reducing our carbon footprints on this planet. Because of everyone’s efforts, we currently reach more than 10,000 readers. What a difference one year makes!

I would like to use the occasion of our one-year anniversary to thank everyone who has given their time, energy, and support to advance this digital publication.

Without a doubt, our success comes from a great team of writers, photographers, and designers that makes it possible. Without them, we wouldn’t be where we are now.

To you all, I simply say, “Thank you,” and I look forward to your future contributions to Colorado Boulevard.

“Congratulations to ColoradoBoulevard.net on its first anniversary.”

      – Bill Bogaard, Mayor of Pasadena

“Anybody who can help people connect to their community and understand what’s happening in their community is to be congratulated.”

      – Terry Tornek, Councilmember, Pasadena District 7

“For Colorado Boulevard.net I would certainly say, connect with the people, connect with your constituents, grow the business and grow Pasadena.”

      – John J. Kennedy, Councilmember, Pasadena District 3

“Congratulations to the staff of Colorado Blvd! We love Pasadena and it’s great to celebrate our city by providing local news.”

      – Jonathan Edwards, President, Downtown Pasadena Neighborhood Association

“Congratulations on your one year anniversary.”

      – Gene Masuda, Councilmember, Pasadena District 4

“Yes, we are celebrating vintage birthdays. But the excitement of Pasadena continues. And that’s something that we explore, Pasadena’s inner history. History is our domain. So we’re excited that you’re here, and you’re a year old.”

      – Jeannete O’Malley, Director, Pasadena Museum of History

“Happy first birthday to ColoradoBoulevard.net! You folks provide an invaluable service to this community by, among other things, promoting the vibrant arts & culture scene here in the fabulous City of Pasadena. We truly appreciate your support and advocacy. Keep up the good work.”

      – Jon Lapointe, Director of Communications, Armory Center for the Arts

“Happy Birthday to the sharpest 1-year old on the Boulevard!”

      – Greg Gunther, Vice-President, Downtown Pasadena Neighborhood Association
